A new year, new baby and exciting new beginnings...
Here's a little something I wrote at 6am when the house was quiet...the start of a new day and new year can be the start of so many new beginnings.
I posted this on instagram and it became a new year mantra reaching nearly a quarter of a million of you and counting...
My little moment to share with new parents...here goes...
For the new parents of 2025
This is it...it's your year. The start of your greatest adventure.
You will soon hear their first cry, see their little face and hold them in your arms for the first time. Each scrunch of their nose, little yawn and tiny sigh will fill your heart in places you never knew.
They will hold your finger so tight you won't want them to let go, and their eyes will look at you like no one else. Take photos, be in the photos, and capture this time, as they grow these will become everything.
You will embrace a love that you never knew existed, and time will become your biggest teacher. Some days will feel short, and some nights will feel long, but together you will find your way.
It will be the best time and perhaps the hardest at times too. Be kind to each other, but mostly be kind to yourself.
You will see the world through their eyes, share so many firsts together and you will find new magic in the everyday.
You are their world, and they complete yours, and your heart will feel full like you could never imagine.
We are with you every step of the way...
